i know i am being pathetic. But i REALLY HATE needles.
Will they really hurt.?

i understand how you feel as I too hate injections. I have had 3 moles removed and it was quite pain free. My doctor sprayed the area he was going to inject and I never even felt the needle. After that I was home free as for me too the injection is the worst part. Rest assured its not anywhere as bad as you think it is. good luck

For the needle pain fear ask for topical anesthetic. I was scared also about my mole removal (on my back) and I didn't feel a thing until AFTER the biopsy. They'll numb the area then cut out the mole (root and all) and place in biopsy cup. I had a dermatologist do mine; they ended up taking 2 at the same time. I had a lot of post op discomfort though but Motrin worked fine for me. I pray that the results are "normal"

You will get a needle to the surface area. You will get another needle to numb the site where the mole will be removed. The first one will sting for a sceond. You won't feel the 2nd one. You won't feel it when the mole gets removed. I've had a few removed from my face.

the needle doesn't hurt ,all that much it may burn a bit. i had one removed ,they numbed the area around the mole. it only is 1 shot,don't worry !! you will be okay,and you are not pathetic!!
