Arrrrrrrrrrgh I HATE going to the dentist. And I have no idea why? I hate the sounds and the smells and the bright lights, but they look after my teeth brilliantly and I've never been hurt or had a bad experience there. Strange. Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgh!

I dont hate going to the dentist;; I just dont love it because I am very self-concious since I dont have perfectly straight teeth. The thing I hate is being numb. I just dont like it. I've only needed to be numb twice though both for teeth extractions for braces.

The only part that I hate and want to strangle the cleaner for is scraping my teeth. I hate the feel and the sound. I like cringe and pray for it to be over. She always gets the pik stuck near the root of my teeth and she practically pulls it out. I love fluoride, my mouth waters at the thought!

Dentists have changed dramatically in the last few years. Their offices are now tastefully decorated. Everyone is trained in superior client service. They can give you a sedating gas or an injection so that you are in twilight sleep. They can give you headphones to help block out noises.

Love my dentist - worked in a dental surgery for 12 years now just visit every six months - very nice people!

The drill has to be the worst torcher devise ever made, but it does help when the assitants have a big set of wangers.
