Yeah!! sounds like somebody is in love with you and you were not paying attention to them. Get your head out of the clouds this person is into you, a kiss says alot maybe thier shy with words. Why don't you ask them what's up? If you spend alot of time with this person and their always there for you and has always been your shoulder. Then they just as well could be in love with you. Is this person involved with anybody? If not then go for it but only if the both of you feel the same way, don't mess up a good relationship Talk to each other.

I guess it would all depend on how you see this person. If you see him/her as just a friend then it may be something that was building up for a long time and that moment was the right time to see if that could go any further. If you see that person like a brother/sister then you need to ask them how they feel about you or how do they see you. Is it in a family (brother/sister) way or in a relationship (boyfriend/girlfriend) way. The air has to be clear and everyone should understand how the other feels.

It depends on if you like this person a little than a friend if you do go for it if you don't than tell them you only want to be friends and kissing might harm that relationship
