Actually, the Japanese make MOST of our electronics (think Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Pioneer, kenwood, JVC, etc., all of these are JAPANESE), The South Koreans make SOME of our electronics (think Samsung, and LG), and finally the Chinese make VERY LITTLE of the electronics that are used worldwide. However this is CHANGING VERY QUICKLY due to the booming economy of China, the ever increasing CHINESE capacity to build phenominal quality electronics for next to nothing (their labor costs are way cheap) and the slow but gradual acceptance by the west of China as the new leader in personal electronics
