You sound as if you are too young to be serious about anyone. Terry cannot break up your relationship with Michael unless you let him. Simply say no. Tell him you are seeing someone else and it is not right for you to see him - Terry. If you think it is probable that Terry will tell lies, tell Michael now and ask him not to do anything. Explain that there is no reason for him -Michael- to respond, that you simply do not want him to hear something and get the wrong idea.
Hey, no big problem here.
If Michael responds badly, you need to simply break up. You don't need that kind of mess in your life, at any age.

If you really like Michael and Terry is messing up your relationship, I think you should decide who do you wanna be with, your boyfriend Michael, or your friend Terry. On this situations, think about what you are going to do very carefully and talk to someone you trust and that is gonna understand you!
