I would recomend working out, CHANGING a diet helps, but don't go into the not eating mode... 14 pounds sounds to me more like needing to tone up and changing fat into muscle rather than in need of a good diet.

Depends what you eat
If you eat very poorly, then diet will be sufficient. Otherwise:
I would recommend exercise over diet. Diets change due to age, activity, weather, stress etc and can be more demanding to keep to.
Excercise (Aerobic) with routine gets the body active, boosts the immune system, improves awareness and self confidence. It also dramatically reduces the risks of certain diseases ie cancer.
If you lose weight via exercise rather than diet it is proven to be more effective in the long term

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).
I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

I was listening to the radio yesterday, and they talking about a survey that had taken place and the results were that dieters lost more weight than exercisers. However I have to say, I cannot diet, I always feel deprived, so I exercise instead. Please remember that when you exercise you will increase your muscle which is heavier than fat, so although you may not lose as much weight you will be more toned. Good luck

I am no expert,In sports a balanced diet,in conjunction with a regular work out,not just in the gym get out and run not just jogging, take part in a structured sport,I think not only will you see the pounds go but also toning your body will make you feel better about the parts you cannot change

both....
if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.
1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day
2.) drink lots of water
3.)exercise every day
4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

If you want permenant weight los results it is best to watch your diet and excercise. The key is to make sure you are burning more calories than you are taking in. I changed my eating habits such as cutting out lots of sweets and junk food and started with walking one mile a day, then gradually built up to more, and eating healthier as I grew used to it. Doing that helped me lose 84 lbs in under two years.
Hope that helps!

You should be on a diet to lose weight- that would be more successful than a deit to loose weight.

It's all acording how fast you want to lose weight.
E.g if you eat 3,000 calories a day and you do 1 hour on a bike machine, you'll burn about 700 of them, but if you eat less calories then obviously you will lose weight faster!!
You need to work out how much you eat in calories and how much you burn, walking, working and exercising!
Hope that helps. :-)

You can certainly start with exercise. But you do need to be aware of your calorie intake, you can't just eat whatever you wish and expect to lose weight.
