Forever if you let it. You have to tell yourself despite what happened in this relationship I am determined to have fun. No since in crying over spilled milk. You have to realize though it was very sad break-up, but there is also a silver lining in it all, God made you free for someone else to meet you and respect you, love you, need you, want you and have FUN with you as well him/her. Just because you two fun has ended doesn't mean you can't get the party jumping all over again. And that right there makes it ok to live again after a hell any relationship. God puts people in our lives for however amount of period he wants, so we can learns lessons from them. He so happen to put that person in your life for three yrs. Now think hard I mean hard and ask yourself "What have I learned from this person" What did he/she give me to take in my next relationship" What are some of the things that I should cahnge about myself before I go into another relationship". Trust me when you answer all of them fully thats when the fun will begin again my friend. You see the fun never went anywhere it just was on intermission for a while lol lol lol! I hope everything works out for you.

As long as you want it to last. for me its been nearly 3 years out of a long term relationship and i'm still having loadssssssssss of fun.
