trust me the average fridge is too cold ( about 5 degrees) to keep them for long, just cool, ie pantry is best away from bright light and strong smells.If you don't believe me put one tomato in a cold fridge and one in a pantry were it's cool and see which one goes off first.The reason being strawberries like a lot of fruit have a high water content.And yes tomatos are a fruit.

I usually keep them in a bowl in the fridge if I'm not eating them right away but usually I eat them up when I buy them. The same with Raspberries. That is where!

The best place for fresh strawberries is inside my belly, along with the cream and fresh ground black pepper that was on them.
YES BLACK PEPPER, NOT SUGAR..... If you don't believe how good it tastes try it.
But as I can't get hold of yours you had better put them in the fridge
