Some table foods are ok for cats as a special treat but dont feed them table foods too often and there are certain foods that are never ok to feed your cat. Things like tuna any dairy product and chocolate can be particularly harmful to a cat. Tuna is bad because a cats digestive system has a hard time breaking it down. Most seafood is this way thats why when you read the ingredients in a can of seafood cat food you will see taurine listed. Taurine helps the animal to break down the seafood product. Dairy products are bad because cats are lactose intollerant. And chocolate is like poison to a cat just like it is with dogs. Turkey would be fine as long as you dont give your cat a lot of turkey. I feed my cats table foods from time to time just make sure it is within reason. Chicken and turkey are good choices. Dont give them foods that are very salty or spicy as this can be bad for them. Good luck and I hope your kitty enjoys the special turkey treat! =)

Sure, a little is ok. Make sure it is cooked well, and that it doesn't have any bones or skin because of the extra fat. It would be a healthier choice if they got the white meat instead.
Of course, once you do this they will prefer that to their regular food, so they may object for a few days over their regular food... so be prepared!!! I also recommend NOT feeding them from the table. Wait until everyone has eaten and chilled out for a while. You want to avoid them expecting food from you EVERY time you eat.

Any cooked meat is perfectly OK. Just don't let him stuff himself as people are prone to do on Thanksgiving. No cooked bones however, just give a few pieces of meat.

In small amounts it should be fine, unless they have a very sensitive stomach. I give my cats and dogs the extra parts, like the heart and liver and they've never had a problem.

A little turkey isn't going to hurt, just dont give them to much. They are smart usually smart enough not to over indulge.

make sure there are no bones. just give them a little. our little girl has had some turkey every thanksgiving and christmas for the past 12 years. this is her 13th year with us and she will get her usual: small bits of turkey,a little gravy and homemade(her favorite)mashed potatoes
