Is there anyone who has ever been in a long relationship, 2, 3, years, it was very serious, you wanted to get married, etc, and now you have broken up and have found someone new and wonderful? If so do you ever think of your ex? If so, how much, in how much detail? Tell me about it. Also, if you had been in a long relationship and still havent found anyone..how is that going, how do you feel? Do you ever think of your ex?

I think ex's always come back to haunt you, especially if you are lonely or things are not going very well in your current relationship. I don't think you should feel guilty about it, you are just going back to a time where maybe you were in a happier place or maybe a not so happy place...you are reminiscing...this does not mean that you want him back in your life...it's how YOU were feeling at this time in your life that is serving as an eye opener...telling you things could be better or worse for that matter...but an ex is an ex, that is exactly what he or she is, a former significant other in your life that hopefully enriched your life one way or another...remember...you learn from the good and the bad.

Was in a 5 year relationship but he did not want to get married, at the same time I met my current husband and asked him to marry me. He said yes and then the ex-boyfriend all of a sudden also wanted to get married. Told him it was too late, married my current husband and we have been happily married for 61/2 years. Glad I made this choice. As for my ex. I think about him off and on, but as time goes on, less and less.
