Beef stew.

Dice the celery, carrots, and onions to make a mirepoix, ad cook them with a little olive oil in a stew or stock pot.
After about 8 minutes, add the beef cut up in the size you want, and brown it.
Turn the heat on high and pour in some Guinniess to deglaze the pan and stir good, to bring up anything on the bottom. Turn the heat down.
Add some water, maybe some tinned tomatos if you have them, cooked kidney beans, and the potatos (cut to bite size pieces). Simmer until the potatos are tender.
Add mushrooms in the last 15 minutes so they get cooked without getting mushy.

Yum. Great with just some buttered bread.

take a stew pot, add teh water and guinness.
Coarsely chop teh celery, carrots, mushroom, and potatoes. Add tthen and the beans to teh pot, put on the lid, adn let it cook for a while.
Good stew.
