Wow where did you get this information? Christianity is called Christianity because of the followers of Christ that would be those called Christians. Where did you ever get he was against religious laws? He said that not one jot or title shall pass away until he returns. Jesus came to fufill the law not to destroy it. god is the same yesterday today and tommorow although mans relationship to God does change.

Christians by definition are people who follow the teachings of Christ, and Christianity therefore is the entire body of people who follow what Christ said. Even though the gospels don't say the word they clearly teach the idea, that Christ words should be followed.
Christ was against the abuses of religion not religion itself otherwise he would not have participated in Passover.
While some sects of "Christianity" may have made up some doctrines all of the essential doctrines come straight from the pages in the Bible. What may have confused you is that sometimes we take complicated ideas that take allot of time to explain and just give the idea a name so we don't have to explain it every single time we talk about it.

Religion is man-made. Jesus didn't speak of Christianity because it wasn't formed until after he died was resurrected and ascended into heaven. The numerous doctrines come from people's interpretations of God's Word.
Which religion is right and which one is wrong? You choose the right one for you. Christianity is a walk with Jesus, it has no church, WE are the church that Jesus speaks about and will come and gather to go with Him again. Bless you for this question.

Study a little bit more. First, Christians was a name given to us by the pagans because we believed in Jesus Christ.. Second, Jesus wasn't against Jewish law(he even said that he didn't come to abolish the law.). He lived a perfect life and followed all the laws. After he died we entered into a new covenant(why we don't follow the Jewish traditions). Thrid, It's more then just a simple religion it is a realationship.

Christianity is basically a extension of Judaism that is meant for non Jews.
Non Jewish believers do not have to keep all the ceremonies as the Jews are still to do, but we both must trust Jesus as Savior and live holy lives.

It isn't. Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP. Catholicism, Methodism, Calvinism, Baptist, and all the rest are religions. That's why it's stupid to claim 'freedom of religion' as a defense against Christian morals and Christmas celebrations. Religions are much smaller than Christianity.

Right - Following Jesus is a relationship - totally different. I heard it this way - Religion is man reaching up to God to find Him - but Relationship is God reaching down to man - through His Son Jesus Christ. That is so beautiful to me.
