I need some really GOOD TIPS to STAY FIT this THANKSGIVING! I really like to eat, REALLY especially good food like at thanksgiving time, who dosnt i just need some helpfull tips on how to stay fit ,and not just overeat.pleeasse help me when I get off school break, there is this boy at school i really like, and he's starting to like me too, and i dont want to look fat when i come back, from vacation. so can someone PLEEEASSE HELP ME!!!!!

Eat breakfast before your big Thanksgiving lunch or dinner. Eat small portions. Snack on it throughout the day, preferrably instead of eating one large portion. Take a walk after the meal, instead of watching TV or football. Choose healthy foods and eat more of those, putting off the desserts and unhealthy things until you have eatten your healthy choices so you will not eat or eat less of the bad things. Drink 10-12 glasses of water (8 oz. each). Do not drink a lot of alcohol or soda (empty calories). Choose the lowfat, nonfat, low calorie or just plain healthy versions of your fav items, like low fat white meat turkey instead of normal dark meat, plain green beans instead of that creamy casserole, lite salt or no salt, light turkey gravy instead or normal or dark, gelatin instead of pie, water instead of punch, etc.

Make sure you get proper amounts of exercise and eat in modeation. The holidays are hard on everyone, especially with all of the good rich food that we dont always eat the rest of the year. Do not deprive yourself, but have smaller helpings. go out for a walk each day if the weather permits, and if not, then go somewhere that's sheltered and walk. Go with your friends to the mall and hang out, when it's time to eat, stay away from the junk food and eat healthier snacks. Then at the "big meal" you can have a bite or two of everything and not be deprived. Excerise and drinking water is very helping in keeping fit and not gaining weight. Good Luck

if people would exercise more they would not have to worry so darn much about food...Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.

1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day

2.) drink lots of water

3.)exercise every day

4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

Gym Time! i'm going an hour everyday this week w/40 min intense workout & alternating days of strength training...well that's what i do n-e way...just not everyday.
Enjoy it!
Make it feel good! & don't push urself 2 hard to pain...
try not 2 overeat & lots of h2o

If this is a serious question then you need a good old fashioned *** whoopin' preferably from an adult male so you can feel some serious hurtin'. If I were your mom I'd take you to Nebraska and drop you off at a local hospital before they change the child abandonment law.

eat small portions and only 1 plate on Thanksgiving. focus on the people not the food and be sure to get your workout in for the day. If you can't workout go for a walk or run. It's only one days you can get through it
