This guy and I have been friends for 3 years. We used to just be casual sex but then became genuine friends. He knows I've got feelings for him but claims it wouldn't work out. Everytime I pull away from him or try to talk to other guys he becomes a total cock block. Then when I focus on him again he shells up. He doesn't have any other women in his life, but won't take that next step with me. What should I do?

You have the same old age problem, with guys if a guy can get away with keeping you from getting with another guy and keep having "Homie, Lover, Friend" sex with you without the girlfriend/boyfriend commitment why the heck not!
See he is in heaven right now and you do not even realize that you are holding all the cards right now.
The reason why I tell you this is because this is how it works;
You have to tell him like this, Look________, you already know how I feel about you but, I can not continue this bull $hit so called non-relationship, either you must commit to an relationship with me, you know the whole nine yards or you must let me go, so that I can find someone who really wants to be with me. period
But when you tell him this you must make sure that he understands that, there can not be any more sex, or anymore blocking other guys from getting close to you, I mean you must tell him this AND FOLLOW THROUGH because if you let him get to you because he will try to use your feelings for him against you in this manner if you let him. you will get one or two reactions.
The 1st one is what you really want: An real relationship with the guy of your dreams.
Or
You will get the turth I mean you will find out if you really mean something to him more than just a friend.
Most of the time you will be your guy if he really cares for you sometimes they just need a little push in the right direction I hope this helps you..........Good Luck.............................

You have to cut him off totally. Tell him, you want more and that if he doesn't, that's fine, but you can be around him any more because it's too hard for you. It will be hard, but it's a necessity. Think of all the genuine love you are denying yourself by playing this game. The bad thing is, you're on the losing end of this one.

Stop letting him use you,. Thats right, hes using you. Didnt think he could be capable of that huh? Time to get real and stop wasting your time on this guy, he has issues to sort out for himself right now. It wont work out in a relationship but you are good enough to have sex with. Dont cheapen yourself and just hold on to the friendship you have with him, if you truly are friends then it will survive this.

i dont see anything wrong in asking a long time boy friend if he is interested in you. if you have asked him and he answered no, why are you still wasting your time. 3 years is ******* much. as a man his chances of marrying anytime is 99. 9 percent. you never can tell if he has been hiding the lucky lady from you. i hope you are not the type that believes love is blind.ask him again and if he says no please walk away. remember you have a flower age.

You know what I sincerely think it is? He is waiting for you to make up his mind for him, to steal HIS heart. I personally resent this in people. A relationship is supposed to be one where a heart is given, not taken. Tell him in so many words he needs to grow up.
