My daughter is a special needs baby. She just turned 1 so I am just getting into all this. There is a program here called ARC. Also early intervention services should be able to help. I don't know what it would be called where you are but maybe it would be listed in the phone book. Also try an internet search. The department of family(human) services may know. I know there are funds out there, it is just a matter of finding them. Good LUck.

There are tons of resources available out there for these kids. Everything from monthly $ to one time grants. My 11 yr old son is disabled and I have found that the best way to dig out the information is parent networking. You don't say where you live or how old your daughter is, so it's hard to make specific recommendations, but once my son got to preschool I hooked up with other moms. You can ask your pediatrician, your local social security office (your daughter may qualify for supplemental security income each month), your local special olympics group might even offer some info. If she already gets state medical insurance to pay for her supplies, ask someone there, they often know of other resources available. If you dont get state insurance for her, find out if you qualify. My son qualifies, even though we make over the income limit. Good luck. Feel free to email me-allysons_mailbox@yahoo.com. Having a child with any sort of special needs can be hard, so please know you aren't in this alone! There are lots of us moms who are doing the same day to day routine that you are with your daughter.

Try bringing that up with someone you know and trust.
Maybe the WFLF (World For Love Funding)
I don't know beyond that. I'd suggest talking to her doctor.
I know that seems odd, but he may be able to recommend something.
