I was told I was misscarrying. Starting last Wednesday, I've been bleeding. How much longer should I expect?

There are a lot of factors that come into play here. I bled for about 2.5 weeks with both of my miscarriages. I've known women who only bleed for a day or two, and others who have bled for weeks. If you are concerned about it, talk to your doctor.

Hopefully the doctors did a thourough exam to find where the miscarrage happened. If it was a tubal pregnancy then there could be serious dangers involved. I watched a show called Dr. G medical examiner and a teenager miscarried and she ended up dying because there was a small hole in her tube and she bled to death internally. If you start feeling very weak, tired or pale I would check with the doctor and get an ultra sound to make sure there are no tears inside...I'm sorry for your loss.

If the miscarriage is complete, bleeding should last about a week, two at the most. You may experience some minor cramping for a few days after the loss. The bleeding should never be heavier than the heaviest day of a period.

my miscarriage bleeding lasted about 10 days. then it stopped for about a week, then it started again and I bled for another 3 or 4 days. I was only 6 weeks preg though. If you are more pregnant than that, it could take longer. I think it's preobably different for everyone. If you start to feel sick or have a fever, make sure you see a doc right away.

everyone is different because mine only lasted for the week then I was done. You should really check with your doctor because maybe there is something that he-she over missed. I am SO SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

after you actually have the miscariage it should last 7 to 14 days i suggest you have pain medicine because it is quite painful
