A real tan isnt pos. in one day. You could however use spray tans but I think you get a bad tone from those products. Though it is safer than exposing your self to uvb and uv...whatever rays. And less aging.
For the best looking and longest lasting tan I would consider taking your time and going to a tanning parlor every other day and useing the tan beds. Start off with small amount of time and work your way up spacing tans at least 24 hours. And always use a tanning lotion for use in beds. This will moisturize your skin. ( dry skin reflects light) Also some have a chemical in them that cause the melanin in your skin ( the cell that gives you color ) to rise to the surface faster and stay longer

Stay away from tanning salons.
They can be dangerous especially if you wanted to get a tan in one day. Too much of the rays will only harm the body and ruin your skin. The only way you could get a "tan" in one day is to use one of those cosmetic products that make you look as if you've gotten a tan. At least they are safe and will not damage your skin.

You will probably get a quicker one if your use a tanning lotion....Mary Kay sunless tanner works well....
