First off I don't believe the Bible was the first book man saw since books were printed. As far as the dead sea scrolls many Christians and Jews believe them of course as they should because they are some of the oldest known writings in their religion. There are many other books and manuscripts written for other religions. As for as God stop telling man what to write down for him. Maybe it was because man just couldn't get it right. Maybe that's why he wrote the ten commandments himself. Then man went and lost the damn ark so we no longer have that. The ten commandments we have now is just something man wrote down for God. We don't know if man got it right or not since they lost the Ark with Gods written ten commandments inside. It's only fair to tell you I am an Atheist but a Christian Atheist of course. Kisses Betty

I had an argument with my friend, first he said God give rain and secondily he said God takes the life of those who are died, all of these i disagree, my stand was, God created the rain but as to when it will rain is probability,God created death but as to when someone will die is not determine by God, that is also a probability. So all these, man has studied and can tell when it will rain,God is not destructive but man has change his image to be so.The bible is sealed with any professy you can think of today, there is nothing that has been written in the bible that is not happening today, Jesus christ is the last prophet, the last messiah, and ofcourse the last trumpet, no other prophet will come again, cos he is the way, the truth and the light.

The book " Everything you always wanted to know about sex, but were afraid to ask ", is generally accepted as the word of god. There are so many christians because humans are ready to believe just about anything. The dead sea scrolls are half true and half hokey-pokey

The Bible is made up of books that were part of tradition dating since the time of the Apostles (the new testament). All other "books" were written later and were not used as part of the Bible because they either were erroneous, contained heresy or did not follow tradition. The Bible contains what we need to know for our salvation and it even tells us to hold on to our traditions because not everything is written in the bible (see 1 Cor. 11:2; Jn 21:25 (John tells us not everything Jesus said is recorded in Scripture)
The Bible ends with the book of the Apocalypse or "Revelation" which is intended to guide us in the end of times....which we are at the end of time now. There is nothing further that we need to know.

You may want to go to the library and take out a book on world religions ! Buddha pre-dates Christ by 500 years ! And Taoism came before Buddhism. And there are others that came before the Christian era. Christians took many of their ideas from older religions. And this kind of information is available if you want to take the time to look for it.

There are so many Christians because we know God's love and wouldn't have it any other way. The Bible is true, there for it will last forever. The Dead Sea Scrolls are accepted in their entirety, as they are the earliest "copies" of scripture.

Maybe God died or he just got bored with humans and decided he was going to play with his creations on the other side of the universe.

since the bible no other book was required to tell the story of Jesus and God. Many are still inspired to write and many have written books enchancing and enriching the ALREADY written word.
