you can't reprimand for past mistakes, only try to prevent future ones; the scent of her special place to go is there and that is why she keeps going back; remove the scent with sprays that they make for this purpose; until she can be trusted , you , the owner , needs to watch for her signs that she has to go and take her out and often to correct the problem and provide her with a better special spot; don't limit water, that doesn't solve the problem only creates a health issue and possible dehydration; you are the key and only you can solve this problem, with time, patience and training.

Does your rug have a rubber bottom? If it does, then that is why your dog is peeing on it. It won't matter how many times you clean it, the rubber mat smell attracts dogs for some reason.

My dog was perfectly house broken until I put a rug in my kitchen with a rubber bottom then he started peeing on it so I just go rid of the rug and he stopped.

Other than that I don't know why he would pee on the rug.

i'm no longer ruling out urinary an infection.. it extremely is a probability. Is there any hint of blood interior the cat's urine? while cats do have UI their urine could have a crimson shade to it. Does he stress or cry while he's urinating? that usually is a beneficial sign additionally of UI. Is his muddle container clean? Cat's are very fussy while it is composed of the cleanliness of their containers. Has his container been moved those days? Cats are creatures of habit and don't deal too nicely with any form of substitute. Has the kind of muddle been replaced those days? it extremely is next to impossible to get the urine scent out of that rug. no remember how plenty you wash it or what you wash it with. i substitute into questioning of putting the rug some the place close to his container? That way the scents would be interior the comparable commonplace section? in case you notice he's in any discomfort, is straining to urinate or does have any crimson/blood in his urine then it's time to touch a veterinarian. i'm hoping this facilitates!

sometimes animals "go" where they have last left thier scent. Unfortunatly cleaning well does not eliminate this scent. There are products on the market that say they will eliminate this odor so the animal does not go there anymore. I would take up the rug ( if it's movable) and see if she keeps going there. If not then maybe talk to your vet and see if there are some other options. good luck

Hiya, your dog must have done it many times, and even thou you are cleaning it her scent must be still on it, if she does it again show her, tell her no, and take her where she is supposed to do it, if it carries it u may need to get rid of it, and purchase a new rug for her to lie on.

a couple of things. first clean the rug thouroughly so she doesn't smell the urine. next, be sure to take her outside shortly after she drinks water. don't open water her, but limit the offering of water to when you are able to take her out. also, do you have a dog crate. crate training is good for dogs, and they think of the crate as a safe and secure place and will never go where they live (in a small enclosure). my dogs love their crates and i also limit watering to when they are able to go out to eliminate immediately.
