When I got back to school on monday everyone was asking why did I cut my hair. I had to cut it because I was trying to go back natural. My hair was in a shoulder lenght bob before I cut it.

Girl, forget about them! It's your hair...do what you want. I get the same reaction every time I chop my hair off but I love getting a really cute short hair cut. Its just hair...it will grow back. :-)

Because in modern society long hair is considered beauty, so ppl are shocked when ppl cut their hair, and since longer hair is so coveted some ppl whose hair takes longer to grow may be envious in sum cases upset that u cut urs. I cut mine once and was gutted but then i liked it because it looked and felt fuller but most ppl wont understand why you cut it, especially if they think you looked better before. But yes if you are going back natural you would have to cut of the other hair sooner or later...Congrats on ur new hairstyle!

Because others are trying to grow their hair, and they can't so that's why they add weaves. Here you cut your long hair and it's just a shock that you actually want short hair.

I had the same problem, people asking me why did i cut my hair, i told them exactly that... i wanted to cut the damaged permed hair and grow my natural hair back.

They were probably shocked because girls normally don't cut their hair to above chin height. Plus you don't cut already short hair. It's also bad to cut your hair too much.

Hi, in fact the long hair is better tnat the short oneand it is attractive. so, when u cut it u look different for them, I myself have a long straight hair and i ll never cut it or shorten it, it is the beauty itself, becareful next time

Because people are used to seeing you a certain way..
And people aren't used to it, as most people are afraid of change.
I think in just a few days, people will realize they love it.

mayb people liked your hair long not saying it looks bad now but people might of just been suprised

because you probably look amazing and they are just in shock and getting use to the new do (not that you didnt look amazing before, change just takes time to get use to)
