It was originally created for Satan and his angels.

Scripture says that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels.
See Matthew 25:32-46 for the program.
What is spoken of is everlasting fire. Nothing is said about anyone who has everlasting life being thrown in that fire!!!
The gift of God through faith is eternal life. The idea that all who cross over will live eternally is a gross error. There are some, who because of their love of great evil, will be sustained for a time of punishment without redemption..
Since we are "just assuming" let us assume three hells. The first the abode of the dead where souls await the soon coming judgment; the second the abode of fallen angels who are mostly free at this time on earth (as should be apparent to anyone with a brain); and third the bottomless pit which is the only one most think of.
This does not include any of the three heavens or the Roman Purgatory which we "can assume" doesn't exist. Nor the conditions which changed with the advent of the Christ.

Ok this is a very good question that many people wonder. Ok I will give you my views as a Christain and you take them how you want to. God is perfect and cannot see sin because it is so against him. People that do not accept him still have sin, but when you accept him you become perfect in his sight, so you will be in heaven with him when you die. Hell is a place with eternal seperation from God. It probably was a place created by God to send the devil and to send the people that don't repent of their sins. I do not belive that you actually burn in hell when you die but that the bible was being figurative. The people who wrote the bible liked giving illustrations to try to understand things better. when people go to hell they will be forever sepertated from God and they now know there is a God. The will be the most agonizing fact that it litterally puts them in mortal agony. These are my views based on the facts I know take them how you want them

Fiery hell does not exist. It was borrowed from non-Christian religions way after the death of the apostles in an effort to suppress any thoughts anyone might have that go contrary to the man-made dogma of the church. The Bible does not teach about a fiery hell.
Satan just loves this teaching. It makes God look sadistic and cruel, which is the farthest thing from the truth. Consider an illustration:
You have several children. One in particular is consistently rebellious and never listens. To punish that child do you hold their hand on a hot element and burn them? No. No sane parent would do that. Social services would come and take all your children away. To punish that child you send them to their room so they can't be a negative influence on the other children who do listen to you.
And that's what God plans to do with the wicked. He won't torment them for eternity for the sins of just a few years. That doesn't even make sense. He'll just remove them from the earth (in death) so they can't influence the good people and cause problems anymore. They will simply cease to exist.

now no longer in all probability. in case you look on the bible, incredibly the previous testomony, you observe countless situations which coach that we've been given loose will. case in point, the story of pastime proves that God does no longer be attentive to how we are waiting to react and that our strikes at the instant are not predetermined. God and devil wager over no count quantity if or now no longer pastime will turn removed from God if his sturdy existence falls aside. If pastime's strikes have been predetermined by skill of God, then there could be no reason to purpose him. yet yet another social gathering is the punishments that are surpassed out by skill of God (the large flood, Sodom & Gomorrah). If there wasn't loose decision, then there could be no clarification for such punishment by fact the strikes that had angered God could have been his very own doing.

Hell is a condition of the spirit, not a location. We suffer and enjoy life in this world, but this doesn't constitute hell or heaven. Somebody who rejects God's love is already somewhat in hell; eternal rejection of God's love is eternal hell. Full acceptance of God's love is heaven.

God intentionally created Hell as the storage place for Satan and his dominions, after Jesus' return. Hurry, Lord Jesus.

God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. He made hell as punishment for Satan. The only reason people go there is because they don't accept Him as their Savior. Which is retarded because salvation is free; all they have to do is believe.

I don't know if I have ever thought much of this type of thinking in regards to hell. As a christian your thoughts are pretty much on the postive side of this relationship you have with God.

Assuming it exists, there is no alternative to believing God created it, set the temperature level, and will send all sinners there to suffer forever - lovingly, of course.

Hell has not been created yet. Hades has been created, and hell will be created when Jesus comes again. Hell will be the result of sin.
