if i lose any more bodily fluids i am in danger of dehydrating myself...and yes ..i keep my fluid levels regularly topped up...plenty of water and i am so boring i do not even drink alcohol...

To keep your nose from running a marathon ..... stop pushing it ahead with your face. :o)

Seriously, pseudaphed. The other over-the-counter meds don't help. You have to get that one from behind the counter nowadays. Even the pharmacists have told me the stuff on the regular counters doesn't work.

Drink a glass of luke-warm water mixed with some lemon juice and honey (optional) before the marathon!

My nose has run all my life, apart from when I lived in Singapore where the air is warm and humid. I'll leave you to invent your own humifier for the nose.

get an allergy perscription from your doctor. I use allgera and it's fricken amazing. Also for a quick fix Afrin is awesome because it drys up your nose pretty fast - but you can only use it for couple of days because your nose can get addicted to it.

I tried stuffing my nostrils with small wads of tissue. The tissues help for a short time. Replace them with new tissues when they feel wet. If you want true relief use a nasal spray.
