I want to store them on my pictures how do i do that?

from programmes select your scanner>open>insert photo. SCAN NOW> once scanned you can see the photo> SAVE AS> be sure to save in your pics from the list that appears....

By using internal Windows XP support for scanners or you need to use the software came with your scanner.
Also, if you use Photoshop, there's an option for that. File > Import > Twain option lets you import the scanned documents.

Your scanner should have came with a CD that includes a program to scan with. Run that program and use it to scan something in the scanner and just save it wherever you want to.

If you have a scanner, just put the picture you want to store onto scanner.
Go to Scanners and Cameras in control panel
Choose your scanner (it appears by its name)
Or you can use software provided with your scanner.
