I see tons of hate liberals and meanspirited bully type questions where the poster seems to think he or she is "above' the fray or better than the persons they belittle.... Also they make specious (false) claims about liberals. Are conservatives all that spitefilled?
looking here it would seem so.

I am NOT ganeralizing about one type over the other. I am trying to make a refference to the quantity of screes here on the yahoo board. It only takes a few prolific posters to make the board look like it is full of bashers.

I am independent and want to here people out but not when all they do is insult and name call and that is what the bulk of questions here has become. I have not seen Bush bashing since the election but ever since then it is filled with I hate liberals foolishness. one poster was named liberalssuck that says it all.

I do need to state the the bashing goes both ways ... I do think it is just a few people posting as many people who are disrupting the attempt at better discourse.
I like answers with sass just not ones that insult.

For the same reason they allow all those hate-filled conservative bashing questions.

Maybe because you are so blinded by the label you have put on yourself you overlook the liberals bashing conservatives posts. Instead of labeling yourself either try standing in the middle as a human citizen, and look for resolution to our problems in government and society instead of joining the bash fest that is going on. I mean that not towards just you but everyone.

Some are. Some liberals are as equally spite filled. I think a lot of this comes down to those individuals being caught in permanent adolescence rather than their political persuasion. Unfortunately, any board like this is going to draw a percentage of those people. One of the main reasons I stopped visiting the about.com politics board was because it largely degenerated into several personalities slandering one another at every opportunity.

i was in a car crash and cant do much but sit in front of this computer most of th day...

i see alot more bashing coming from the librals then the republicans. i know you point is about the screeers but saying someone is an idiot or 'sucks' is freedom of speech. i wouldn't care if someone from the kkk or nazi party was on here to make statements that included the 'n' word, because thats freedom of speech, their idiots right? but thats their choice and american right.

Why? To balance the hate from the left.

No, all conservatives are not "spitefilled".

I would suggest going back to school for vocabulary reasons however. "Spitefilled" is not a word. And neither is "hatefilled". Maybe when people correct your horrible vocabulary you take it as hate?

You got a bias issue? You don't seem to have noticed all the questions attacking conservatives and Republicans with all the hate and venom that you see in the liberal-bashing questions.

If you can't see that it happens on both sides, you're a freaking moron and not worth wasting any time on.

Come on, now... enough generalizations. I am more-or-less conservative, but I don't bash people. My arguments stand on their own merits, and I don't have to put other people down to make my points. Neither should anyone else.

We should all treat eachother with respect. On these boards, and in everyday life.
