I had my wisdom teeth removed about a week ago, still a little bit of pain going on. But I was wondering if it would hurt anything to use my whitening strips on my teeth or if I should wait til my gums heal completely?

Hi,
I think its wonderful that you are taking care of your teeth so well. I wish more people were like you! I bet you floss everyday also. You can start using your white strips as soon as you are eating a normal diet and brushing and flossing normal. If your extraction sites are still sore, hold off on the strips. Then when you are back to normal....WHITE AWAY!!!
Good Luck.

I would wait untill the open sores heal. you wouldnt want to get the white strip chemical directly into your blood stream. Plus, it can make your teeth a bit sensitive at first and I wouold say you already have pain why add the anoying feeling to your mouth.

Better wait til your gums heal completely. If you'll read on the box, the whitestrips contain phosphoric acid and hydrogen peroxide. Ouch!!!

you neeed to wait till your gums heal up and when your teeth come in fully and then you can put it or them on why do you want to make your teeth white back there because no one can see your wisdom teeth ????

Any time somewhat. the sole issue may be in case you washed out the clot which might initiate the the tooth bleeding lower back. no longer a huge deal. After a pair days it has probably healed up sufficient to no longer initiate bleeding lower back.

Wait, of course. Don't introduce anything irritating into you mouth while you are still healing.
