Do you know any? I read the Sefer Yetzirah or book of creation was banned for years before it surfaced again. Do you know of others?

Christianity has never banned any book. They may disapprove of one and say so, but they don not ban books. The so called missing books of the Bible are not "banned" books, just books that some want included in the Bible, but are not, and never have been part of it..

There are many. They are banned because they speak of The Truth and allow freewill and choice removing the power over aspect from the power hungry religious heads. The same is in all religious beliefs. Many of the deleted books are where women have written them or are acknowledged to have great power. Men are afraid of the superior power of the feminine. This means they need to feel and nurture when their instincts are to kill and control.

Mormonism bans books that expose them. For example, "No Man Knows My History" is the definitive biography of Joseph Smith, founder and "prophet" of Mormonism. It was written by UCLA professor, the late Fawn Brodie. Thoroughly researched, written well, and it is a delight to read. I couldn't put it down! Mormon missionaries are forbidden to read it.

The Roman Catholic Church has banned many books. The Apocrypha was banned by Christians

Most Islamic countries banned even the reading and owning of the Bible under stiff penalty.
They must really be scared about its contents and rightfully so....reading it will definitely prevent deception.
