Why are men (I know not all men).........Why are most men uncomfortable with crying? Why?

because of the simple fact that they are afraid to show emotion in front of a young lady. it also has something to do with a little touch of the feminism side that they are afraid to have.

Many men are raised to be tought, be strong, and take it like a man, and show no fear or emotion. Personally I cannot comment on that factor, to each his own. But to me, a crying man does not make him less of a man, sometimes you have to cry.

Most men are raised up in a house where the dad is the "tough" guy; so, they just think that crying or showing their emotions is a sign of weakness. Atleast, that's what my fiance tells me . . :o

We have been designed to be the stronger of the sexes; any sort of emotional weakness is seen as an overall weakness. So, if we start crying, we feel like less of a man.

Cause they were taught growing up not to cry. Real men don't cry. So when they do grow up and become men, this is stuck in there heads that is they cry they won't be "real" men.

i'm a guy and that i basically cry while i think I lost or wont get something i actually love, is that lovable. (it does not constantly might desire to be a woman or the lack of somebody yet while that's something that's a real pastime of mine and that i won't be able to be waiting to peruse it i might, i prefer to be a pilot if i are not getting my wings i think of it would be something i might cry allot over.)

In our sheltered existence we can show weakness that in earlier times and other places would be detrimental to survival and procreation. But our genetic code still is what it is.
