my best friend (who is a girl) has sideburns. they're not like hecka thick or anything, they're like regular side burns. is this normal? i've seen lots of indian girls with side burns. but is it weird for white girls to have them? i think it's in her genes.

Yes its normal because she may just have darker hair. She should really just leave it alone or she can bleach it with Jolen cream (not if she has a complexion darker than olive colored skin). I say this cause it won't look right cause it will show up even more. The best thing for her to do is go to salon and get it waxed. She will have to keep it up but the hair will become more and more fine each time she waxes. Or she could use moisturizer to smooth it down on face.

since your hair is short a really cute haircut for you would be an A-line. its longer in the front and short in the back. whatever you do, dont shave the sideburns!! i remember one time in high school this girl shaved hers and she wore her hair up everyday and it was horrible! i dont want you to make that mistake! but you should really take that haircut into consideration its way cute!

Every person is different, eye color, skin color, hair color and even how we grow our hair, some are bald, some have thick hair while some have thin, some fine. Some have longer side burn hair than others. Unless it is facial hair she don't need to worry about it. I am 52 and have seen it in alot of women. If she is dark complected then it is more noticeable than if she was a blond. We all have it to some extent but some are thicker than others. To the guy who says it is a turn off, he is self centered and not worth your friends time.

Anyone can have sideburns "white" or whatever you may call them. Not just Indians. BTW there are more than one type of Indian, as in from India or like Native American.

Everyone has sideburns....not as thick as guys...but yeah everyone has them. I have very thin little ones :D
