Well you could play it cool and ask if she wants more coffee of if she's working on somthing ask her whats she is doing. If I where her, I would love for some random guy to come and talk to me like that:)

well you both are there. if you're standing next to her ask her about what her favorite coffees are. just find something relative to where you are for a conversation starter and then start talking about other things about both of you.

You are over thinking it. Do it simple. Approach the table and just say "excuse me, is this seat taken." If she likes you she'll say no...if she doesn't she'll say yes....you can feel safe knowing you were asking to sit down and not feel rejected if that is your fear. Works all the time.

Ask her if you know her, introduce yourself and then talk about something you guys have in common. Flirt and see how she responds. It totally works. I am hooked when guys do that.

walk to her table and say hello. then say I know this is sudden but would you like to go out. but don't act anixous to much or she will think you are weird. DON'T FORGET TO GET HER NAME & NUMBER.
