This all started b/c "Singles" was on HBO this morning. So this girl goes back and forth between us. She has herself convinced it's too good to be true. I am going nuts b/c I am convinced this is the real thing with us, like she's the one. And at least part of her feels that way, too, but she keeps trying to talk herself out of it. Admittedly, she probably has some esteem issues, but who doesn't? Is there anything to do but just wait for this? Obviously, the harder I try, the more she resists, so I have resigned myself to backing way off and it is showing some positive signs. But what is this girl waiting for? Every time we go out together, we have fun, we have stimulating conversations, we show we care, often all in the same evening. Do I really have to just wait? She's worth it, don't get me wrong, but DAMN this is frustrating! Why does anyone feel like they need to deny themselves happiness?

You smother her or your to needy.. back off a little and give her the to much attention she wants. She loves it when she teases you and wants it more.... if you back off a little and try not showing you want her so bad she will mature up and get off her cloud of playing games of teasing. She loves the attention and it makes her feel good of being 'IT'. If you act a little less interested then she will come to you... just be a good boy and not stray on her by checking out other gals. She is on a role of testing your love of how far your willing to go cuz she wants you to.

be persistent, dont back off. I was the same way when my ex and i got together, if he would of let me walk away we would of never gotten together, and everytime i tried he would come right back. She probably just needs to know that you are gunna be there no matter what. I'm glad he did because he became my best friend and helped me more than he'll ever know even though we arent together any more.

With some of us, you have to take it slow. Maybe she has been hurt in the past and is scared of starting something so deep. Women are afraid of commitment too you know.

if you feel that she is the1..then wait for her..maybe she had a bad past..so now that a prince has come to her rescue she doesnt know if she is dreaming...just keep reminding her that you are for real and that you are here for her..let her know how much you care about her and will not hurt her

Be patient if you rush this you might run her off. We all have our reasons why we don't want to rush into things. We should'nt dwell on the past but we learn to be more cautious.
