For the most part, I prefer men to be taller. However, it's a package deal... I've dated men shorter than me just because of who they were. Looks do matter some, but it's not the entire picture.

I am short myself, 5"3" , and I always thought I was so lucky because I could date the shorter guys, that didn't want to date tall girls. I never met a guy shorter than me, but I did date a guy that was 5"4" for a year.
One piece of advice, Don't buy a big truck to make up for a short stature.
Confidence is the biggest turn on - bigger than your height.

Yes. And it's totally MY issue. I was much, much taller than all of the boys in my high school year until we hit about 10th grade, and then three or four of them shot past me but the rest barely caught up. Since a large percentage of the shorter boys didn't treat me very well (who knew guys don't like girls who are taller and smarter than them?), I have a huge complex about dating shorter guys. I feel very gangly and awkward around them. Plus, I really love wearing heels, and around a shorter guy that just makes me feel more like an giraffe.

I wouldnt call it an issue, just a preference. I have never dated anyone shorter than me. I wouldnt completely rule them out just for that reason, but I just have personally never had the chance. I would much rather have a short guy that treated me good than a tall guy that treated me like crap!

Never have any problem with girl not wanting to date me because I'm 5'7 (yeah that will be shorter than some girls especially if they wear high heel) but that's probably because I'm a muay thai fighter so they feel safe around me :-)

Its not a matter of issue but just a matter of choice. I prefer my guys to be taller than I am.
