People are so lazy these days.............they come on here asking people to effectively do their homework!! Go do it yourself, you might actually learn something!
And..............why do people actually do it for them!!! Crikey! Give them a few tips by all means but don't do the whole essay!!

There's kind of a hidden question being - why do people ask for their homework to be done, and why do people actually do it.
But its mainly a statement!

I agree. Half the kids who try and get answers to their homework would have done far better to type their questions into google instead of this forum. I have a friend who likes to make up bull$hit answers that give the appearance of being correct but throws in absolutely false info to teach them a lesson in cheating.
To those above who think we are jealous because we didn't have this "help"...I'm glad I was able to do my own work and I am a smarter and more productive adult because of it. People can't go through life expecting others to cover for them, or they will eventually get burned.

Bit cheeky of you, sport. I've noticed some of those questions too, but unlike you, I have not seen any responder actually do the kids' homework for them. I've seen some who give what might be considered an inordinate response, but on closer inspection, it turns out that they've just given the kids a variety of sources from which to choose.
There were topics when I was in school - oh, how long ago THAT was - regarding which I simply hadn't a clue, and would so deeply have appreciated the sort of help kids get here. I did eventually take two professional degrees - but it took me more than twice as long as it should have because I had so very, very much to learn and in fact turned out to have a learning disability. I've simply decided, when I can discern a querient who needs information that I can give towards his or her homwork, I'm going to give it. Who cares if they get it from me or from a text? At least they get the information! And if I give them a dozen detailed tips and they combine what I give them for their paper - so what? They have to READ it in order to do that - so they're still learning the material. And I don't care if they secretly giggle and smirk - they've still had to work at it. The best teaching occurs when the student fails to recognize that he's being taught.

hi DAN O: i am a highschool student and i some times answer questions about homework i live in iran and our lessons are hard but in eurupa or america i see that the lessons are really easy and you know answering these questions are just like a game for me on the other hand i think it is good to help people because i think the people who ask such questions have a problem with them and so other people should help them but i agree there are a few people who are really lazy and they even do not try to think and solve . by the way i like chelsea not arsenal.

Yes!! Thank God someone actually agrees with me!! I know where you are coming from! But, kids do need help with thier homework sometimes and this is one of the best places on the web. Yes, people please don't do the whole essay because it could get them in trouble in the long run!

Because we've all been there, and god help me i had to research in the library!If i know something than its only fair that others will get a good answer, ok, im slightly resentful that nobody was there for me in my day but we have to help the next generation, (as long as they are actually learning and taking it all in) they will be our future workers and i dont want them to suffer!

I don't really like referring to people as lazy.Everybody has their own limitations.As the Different Strokes theme song says:"Everybody finds a way to shine".We live in a technological age,why not use it?Good observation though.

I agree, (i mean come on a pen that gives you answers!) but some people don't ask for answers like i asked for ideas for a essay i mean it's o.k to ask for help we're not Albret Enstine!:)

I was that way in my early days here.
So I just stopped answering those questions, and started helping people who didn't have homework.
