By accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior you are saved.

OK, so say you've led a bad life, harmed others, stolen, and done a lot of bad things to people. Does your religion require that you find those people and do what is possible to undo the sins you committed against them? For instance you stole from someone a long time ago are you required to go and give back what you stole or replace it? If you were cruel to other people and taunted, teased, and assaulted them - are you required to apologize and perhaps help them with medical bills to fix the damage you caused? If you comitted a murder are you required to approach the family and ask for forgiveness and do those things possible to mend what you've done here on earth?

Or are you allowed to just move forward asking only God's forgiveness and not the forgiveness of those you have harmed?

First and foremost, they shouldn't judge people. Don't generalize. Don't judge, and act holier than thou, that probably would be a great first step to enlightenment.
A person must first start with the person in their mirror, and correct their ways, and never do it again. stole, harm, murder, whatever, never to do it again.
Then they must amend their ways ways, and ask those whom they have done them wrong to forgive them. If they are not around to receive the apology or give the forgiveness.
Then that person should do Charity work, and the like to another. Jesus said: " whatever you do to others, you have done it to me.' That would include the good deeds as well as the bad.
Asking forgiveness alone is not enough. The proof is in the pudding as they say, in their way of life ever after more.

ADD:
How does a person expect God to forgive them, if they refuse to forgive each others!
None of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. Some of us more than others, but we all do our share of mistakes. Then, we have to correct what and if we do others wrong, and correct our ways. To forgive, and ask to be forgiven with our deeds not just words.

Easier said than done, but it is doable. The hardest word to say 'I am sorry.', our pride and vanity makes it too hard, but it can be done.

Under the Old Testament law, the followers of God were required to pay restitution to those they had harmed. There is no such requirement in the New Testament. Remember, when you accept Christ as your Savior and follow the commandments of God for salvation, you are literally "born again." You're not the same person you were before. Your old sins have been washed away and are literally "forgotten" by God -- they are no longer held against you. Now, there's no rule that says you can't go back and apologize to those you have wronged and/or to pay restitution, but in the end the only forgiveness you really need is the forgiveness of God.

That's a great question.I would imagine you aren't the only that's ever asked that question.
Regardless of whether it's said to or not in the bible. It would be the one most unselfish thing one could do.I would have great respect for someone that does that. That would show strong character and accountability.I believe it would be pleasing to the lord if one did that regardless of whether he said to or not.

Healing old wounds can lift ones spirit out of the past and help that person be able to go forward for the lord. The devil loves someone that dwells in the past because it holds you up from doing the lords work.Eventually if you let it,it would eat you up inside.

We are taught as Christians to forgive those trespasses that others trespasses against us the same as we are forgiven our trespasses. To be forgiven is to be forgiven We should more than make up for that which we have taken not because of the law because we are not under the law but because we have the law written on our hearts if a man compel you to walk a mile we should walk two. Where those who are under the law are required to follow it we freely go further than the law requires yet we are not under the law. It is the teachings of Christ.

Yes you are duty bound to make good any injury that your sin has caused to others, if this is not possible or practical for a good reason then you must do penance to redress the imbalance.
you can give up some time and do charity works, or give an equal amount of money that was stolen to a good cause, for example.

expensive pal, everybody is born with sin, because of the fact of Adam and Eve's insurrection against God's trouble-free for residing an substantial existence. Adam and Eve are our ancestors and we inherited this sin. that would not unavoidably propose we did something incorrect. It skill we are all born with the "sickness" of sin. God knew, that that only thank you to reconcile guy back into precise status with Him, substitute into for Him to dress Himself as guy (Jesus Christ) and alter into the proper, sinless blood sacrifice. Jesus died in our place on the circulate so as that we would settle for Him as our Savior, Redeemer and Lord. To stay for Him because of the fact He died for us. God is a Holy, only and Righteous God and He won't be able to have sin around Him. because of the fact of this it extremely is important that we no longer only ask forgiveness as quickly as we disobey God's word, yet that we "repent"...turn from the direction we stepping into and circulate in God's direction. i'm hoping that enables you.

How can God forgive you when you are hypocrite...you cannot forgive others.
How can God forgive you when you keep on harming others.
***Love others as Yourself***

There is only 2 choices:
- if you have LOVE in your heart, peace, joy, happiness, help others, you`re in the right way to God.
- if you have the opposite characteristics...you`re going to the opposite direction too... down to "hell" with satan...sorry !!!

No bargaining please !!!!!!!!
