like you and me. angel simply means messenger. heavenly beings on the other hand, are something else. they look all kinds of different ways. a description of some of them can be found in the book of revelation.

I think that if an angel were to appear it would be hovering in the air... no wings, just a bright bright light that NO ONE could ever lay eyes on...the body looking like a humans body... but just surrounded by a radiant light that can not even be decribed... but sometimes it can not really be an angel but a devilish creature impersonating an angel... a way to know if they are a devlish creature hold out your hand and if the angel shakes your hand and if it is nothing but air is is a creature sent from the devil if it has a body and a solid hand it is an angel of god... this is what my religion believes in and not just the people in my church preach it today but it says it in our doctrine made by god and written down by the prophet...

I was told once,,my sister saw a bunch in her living room while praying..she said big like 8 feet tall and peace surrounded them..
