You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

I believe that the only way to lose weight and keep it off for the rest of your life is Low Carb. Low carb can only work though if one makes it a lifestyle change.

I lost 50 pounds 2 years ago and have maintained this weight comfortably with low carb. I do not measure portions, count calories, eat all fat as the media would like you to believe, I am healthy and active. I eat when I want until I am full as long as the things I eat are low carb. What other way of eating can you say that about. The diet is not boring, it's not all about meat and eggs. There are so many choices and substitutions for fattening foods.

Don't skip meals, eat in moderation instead of denying yourself certain food, exercise at least 3x a week. It's a simple solution: burn more calories than you're eating. Don't diet all the time. Dieting makes you look forward to the end of the diet, when you can start eating normal again (and gain everything back).

Exercise and moderate eating have been the best ways to lose weight. You MUST exercise. If you're not up for running or cycling, try one of Denise Austin's exercise tapes. I swear by them, and they're super fun as well!
