it compresses files in winzip packages... it is freeware, go to the winzip website to get it and read all about it.

WinZip is a file archiver and compressor for Microsoft Windows, developed by WinZip Computing. This means that it is used for making file sizes smaller.
To use this, just install it from http://www.winzip.com. Then if you have a file/folder that you need to be compressed ("Zipped"), just Right Click (context click) on it and select "Add to Zip file...".

Winzip is a really helpful compression/decompression program. It can be used to "shrink" files you want to e-mail or put on a memory stick, for example, so that you can send or carry them more easily. On the decompression side, if you get a file with a .zip extension, Winzip can uncompress and extract it so that you can actually use it. It has been around for years and is a really handy little utility.

Winzip allows you to package files together in a single file. Zip software, like winzip, can be downloaded for free through download.com. Windows XP also has zip capabilities. Files marked as zip, have a zipper through the file for an icon.
It's just a convienient way to allocate numerous files to one file and to compress.

winzip allow you to pack your files in a new compress file with .zip extension. you can use winzip to compress and uncompress your pack of zip files. Many softwares came in zip format. so you need winzip to use them. winzip can be download free from www.winzip.com but you will get only evaluatin version .If you have old version winzip the you can use the following registration code: name: x code:0020000

winzip is a program used to compress (aka "zipping") files into a zip archive. this way, the files get compressed and you have only one container for various files.
there are different tools around who do that thing, winzip is one of them. if you have installed win-zip, right-click on the file you wish to compress, then select create archive (or something similar, forgot the exact branding...)

Zip are the programs that compresses the file. Save on memory.
Win is the prefix use for window.
So Winzip if you have the program it will, have tutorial.
Look it up on Google and may be able to down load it.

winzip is a applacation used to open .zip files and thay are used on ftp and http servers to turn a folder with more than one file in to one file
install.zip one a web site may have a readme.txt an a setup.exe but you only have to download the one file install.zip to get both and in some cases the .zip files even reduce size

winzip is compression/decompression software. if you want to store
a 1.5 mb documnet file store in a flopy, so it is not possible but
you add this file to winzip then it reduce it's size and you can easly
store it in a flopy. and again it open through by winzip.
