Where my dad once worked, there was an air filter setup which had to be checked every day as part of an environmental monitoring program. Within that setup, a spider had set up shop, having 'learned' that insects get blown in along with the air samples. The first time my dad saw it, it was a beautiful, classic web. But every morning, he would sweep the web away to get to the filter. And every day, the spider would rebuild the web. But after a while, the web began to take on a more random appearance. Perhaps he realized that no matter how beautiful the web, there was nothing he could do to stop its destruction by the 'giant hand of death'. Eventually, the web was reduced to an ugly, tattered imitation of what that spider was capable of.
If you look at the questions asked of the religious people here, you will see that much the same thing is happening here. No matter how good our explanations, none of them are 'good enough' for you. After awhile, it seems pointless to even bother explaining things ONCE AGAIN. So you see only the tattered remains of an explanation. What's the point of trying when you're really not listening?

As for the others, you have to ask them, Myself I know where I can & what I stand on, Hey, I have been living this way for over 36 yrs.

yes you are absolutely right. instead of uniting the people, some questions and answers are striving hard to divide people in the name of religion and are flaring up communal passions. it is an ironical fact that atheists have to advise believers not to hurt the sentiments of followers of other religions.

Bliss. (As in, "Ignorance is ...")
I try to stay informed of the Bible's teachings as they relate to my "religious" beliefs.
I also often explain my beliefs to others as Peter stated in 1 Peter 3:15 that Christians ought:
"But sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect."
Additionally, we are told to "Make sure of all things." - 1 Thessalonians 5:21

Sorry but I am a Muslim and I am in constant search of more knowledge. Not only of my religion but of others as well.
The more that we know and understand about each other the happier the world will be.

Sad, but true. If we truly believe that we are meant to serve God with our entire being, wouldn't our thirst for knowledge of His Will be unquenchable?
To be lukewarm is unacceptable. Burn with zeal for God. Learn everything you can, to the best of the ability you're given.
