Yes! This may sound stupid, but ever since I started doing crossword puzzles and thinking games, I swear my memory has gotten better. I've read up on it, and everyone seems to agree that you can train your brain like you would a muscle. Stimulate it long enough and you'll be "in shape". Make sure your brain is stimulated by doing active thinking, not passive stimulation like TV or radio. Read a book, do some crosswords or sudoku, have fun with riddles.
Also, since I have to study a lot for college, I feel that I can memorize things easier than when I went to high school. You just have to give your brain something to work with.

might I suggest an old adage, 'use it or lose it', if you can memorize things it would help to make them more 'memorable' by converting them to easy , short words, or numbers. Also use FOLIC ACID, wonderful for later , stop u going loopy, thats why its being intorduced by the Government. Now the joke of that one is to stop u forgetting to vote , rest above is real
