You don't NEED anyone to help you get over him. There are plenty fish in the sea...and all that good stuff. But really, Everyone remembers there first love, but not many people stick with there first love, so life does go on. the trick is to just keep going. I know it's hard now, and even if you cry yourself to sleep every night. every day it will get easier. and before you know it you will be over him and not even realize it. Get a hobby or find something to take up your free time, read a book. Do something. It makes the day go by faster. What every you do, don't just sit around watching TV, because then you'll start thinking about him , and that will only make it worst.

Listen, love takes a very long time to get over. 4 months is actually not that long. Don't rush into anything. It's very difficult and depressing to be alone, but it's a lot worse to rush into a relationship that ruins you just because you don't want to be alone anymore. Take your time, and be open. Someone will come your way soon enough.
Don't pay too much attention to who else has a boyfriend. be happy for them, and congratulate them on their success, then wait patiently for yours to come along.
hope this helps

How long where you and this guy involved because you really could just have strong feelings for the guy. I never have encouraged going back to an ex because it is if you are surrending to the person. You will never truly get over someone unless you have some closer. Find the out if that works for you.

That is quite the problem that most people have.
Its hard to find someone that is right for you and although you might want someone right away and seeing all your friends with their new boyfriends may hurt but as soon as you find that guy youll be happy and your friends will be jeoluse
Did you ever hear that saying good things come for those who wait for...
Thats kind of your situation.

First off don't find a guy just because your friends have one and don't use him to replace the old guy. Find a guy you have a real connection with and go from there. There is no way to get over a guy though, you have to find your own way around that.

Sometimes time is better than finding someone else. I was with someone for 4 years, and it just took a while to get over her, rather than trying to replace her with someone else. Maybe not the answer you want to hear, but maybe better in the long run.

You meet someone by going out and having fun, and the available guys will surface. Your next boyfriend is not sitting in your bedroom or on the couch with you already. Go out and find him.
And you will eventually get over him, its going to take time and thast a part of giving your heart to someone.

You will never forget your first true love, but eventually you will move on and find someone who will love you and you will love. First time love's never leave your heart, but there is enough room to love someone else.
