differences, cultural, social, & racial barriers? Or would religion & faiths be more important to sustain human while they boldly go into the unknown?

We would probably discover as we explored the final frontier, boldly going where no man had gone before, that there were no new unknown lives to seek out, no new civilizations to study.

In any case, I do not know why that would change a person's beliefs either way. I don't think it would change who we are inside either. It never did in the past when the explorers searched out "new worlds" such as the Americas and so forth.

I think the only barrier I could have between anybody would be religious. I don't care what race, or culture they are and certainly not what part of society they are. It's their religion that tells me the most about a person - and it's not that I won't associate with someone of another religion, it's how they feel about their own religion as well. Religion is something I'm very passionate about. I think if humans were able to succeed in "warp space travel" that all of the barriers you mentioned would still be there. In fact I bet some religions would try to make rules regarding it. Whether or not they thought it would be going against the creator of the world to try to leave it, and some blah like that. Then if humankind were to encounter any kind of alien race, do you think that humans in general would be okay with that? I doubt it. As humans, it's practically ingrained in some people that they are better than anyone else and I think that would just be another rift for society. "What planet are you from? Not earth? You should go back to your own planet!" (something like that)

With time, religion probably will have less and less importance in people's lives. But the fact is religion has been something in our culture for so many years, it won't be shaken off that easily. You can be as technological or rebellious or liberal as you want, and yet at the end of the day religion will always have a say, even if just a little. Well, for most people anyway.

Such great importance it would be to shuttle at warp velocity. Such lands we would see. Such destiny's we would have. yet does such convey peace and happiness to this worldwide? Does it strengthen are non secular nature for the extra useful? Will the Earth substitute right into a sane planet? i think of faith is maximum surely significant, right here, there and everywhere.

For me God is everywhere even in deep space because He created everything. I would boldly go where no man has gone before and still worship Jesus.

I think religion would be less important in a perfect utopian society.
