A young healthy person with an intact immune system and no underlying lung disease such as asthma will nearly always fight off a chest infection. Antibiotics however reduce the misery, severity, and length of the illness. Chest infections may be debilitating with days and occasionally weeks of exhaustion and fatigue. Antibiotics are inexpensive and I highly recommend them and if I am concerned about the risk of any infection I begin antibiotics early on.

Only if the infection is viral. It is difficult to differentiate. Pneumonia is a serious disease. If you have pneumonia, it is wiser not to take a chance. You must take an antibiotic. If the infection is restricted to sore throat and runny nose, you don't need an antibiotic unless you have strep throat.

Yes of course, millions of people who have no access to medical help do it every day and anyway, they've only been around 60 years or so.
Antibiotics will only be any use if the cause is bacterial, if its a virus they will do no good, in fact by taking too many it could lower the effectivness and you'll be screwed if you really need them for something serious

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. It boosts your metabolism and increases natural ephadrine, the hormone of which burns fat. According to Jeya Henry, professor of human nutrition at Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon with your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 %!

Yeah I m doing it right now! And Im asthmatic. Some may call me superwoman but its just a case of a strong will and eating well. Also in the country where I live you have to pay to see the docter and I cant afford to go!

yes, years ago there were no anibiotics, and usage of them now, depletes our immune systems. in theory you could fight off a chest infection, but its wise to visit the doctor, and let him decide if you have an infection or not.

Go bland. Plain, simple, unseasoned food such as barbequed chicken, plain rice and a undressed baked potato are nutritious however your palette will tire of these people quickly, unlike salty moreish processed food, which keeps you snacking and piling within the pounds.
