The reason why your nails turn yellow is because they haven't been getting oxygen. The nail polish blocks your nails from getting oxygen. Its happens to everyone who leaves there nail polish on for too long or is always wearing nail polish. A base coat doesn't prevent them from becoming yellow but it will help a little. You have to wait until your nails to grow out. That is the only way that they will become normal colour again. Dont leave your nail polish on for so long. It's not good for your nails. Try a week with polish then a week without. Dont worr you don't have a disease or anything.

use an acetone based remover and try to remove the polish every 24-48 hours. To get rid of the yellowing you already have, rub a lemon across your nails. The acid in the juice will help take it out. Start using a base coat when you use darker shades of polish, this will protect your nails from the pigment setting in and changing the color of your nail.

Firstly, wear nail polish only on necessary days. Other than that, remove the nail polish so that ur nails can "breathe". Secondly, drink more milk or soya bean milk to aid the restoration of pinkiness. But this is not an immediate process. It takes time.

Try all the tips above and then from now on apply a coat of nail polish base (or just colorless nail polish) under your color nail polish. It should prevent your nails from getting colored so easily. Works like a miracle for me! :-)

you should just hold out on the polish for a while. You need to let them breathe for a while and then when the discoloration leaves, then go to the nail salon and get them professionally done and they will use something, so that wont happen again

You can try and buff them with a nail file. They turn yellow from lack of oxygen, go about two weeks without any polish and you should be fine.

Get a fresh lemon & cut into slices. Rub the slices over your nails. This should help with the discoloration w/o damaging your nails. In the future, protect your nails with a clear color before you apply the color.
Usually only dark shades cause this discoloration.

Remove all nail polish, then wash your hands in lemon juice and then use almond oil to nourish them.
Then buy one of those nail buffers and use that. Don't use polish on your nails for a while, let them breath

You have to let it grow out. But from now on, use base coat before applying dark colors. This creates a barrier between your nail and those dyes that causes the discoloration.
