Nothing is absolute when dealing with people and the complexity of life but it is not likely. You don't state it in your question but I suspect you have a desire to sweep a particular girl off her feet, marry her and give her the picket fence life but she is a walking contradiction to that life. If I have speculated correctly, hear me now and believe me later: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Find a girl that already shows the values in her life that you think should be apparent--no change required.

yes i have, being the only Leigh in my elementary school of over 1000 kids was tough when i was a little kid, constantly having to correct others pronunciation and spelling of my name, being told that im mispronouncing my own name by people who are too close minded to understand that the english dialect isnt the only one and names come from different dialects and dont always follow the rules of english so its lee not lay, i just wanted a name like everyone elses, like jessica or nicole or emily. but then i found out that i am named after my great grandfather, whos middle name and nickname was Leigh. he was killed in WW2 when my grandmother was 6, and died a hero saving the lives of others. i knew that my parents must really care about me and must have put a lot of thought into my name, to name me after someone who is so important to my grandmother. now im 17 and i love my name, its really grown on me and i love how im the only one i know with my name, i love that it has an important meaning behind it, i love the way it looks, and i wouldnt change it for anything. there are 14 nicoles and 7 jessicas in my school, but im the only leigh, so no one ever gets me mixed up with someone else and they always remember my name. i think everyone goes through a time in their lives where they "hate" their name, because theyve had it all of their life and want a change. i personally think Katrien is a beautiful name, i love the way it sounds and is spelled. if you need a change, instead of legally changing it, just ask others to call you by a different name, so you can always go back if you have a change in heart. i dont know if they would let me, ive never asked, but i dont think any parent would really be okay with their child saying they hate the name that they thought so carefully about and want to change it.

Yep.. a party girl or bad girl that you call it......lol! Sure but once a bad girl turns good when she falls inlove and is all lovey dovey nice girl....she can easily go back to being a bad girl if the world doesn't work out for her......cuz thats her real image and her tough side of not getting hurt emotionally.

It can happen but it could take a bad scare like an STD, a miscarriage, a religious experience, a death in the family, etc. If you are waiting for a bad girl to change, don't hold your breath.

Its "possible", but if you are trying to change a girl like that into "susie-homemaker", than you have another thing coming. Take it from a guy who tried to do something similar, if she is really into that kind of lifestyle, it is going to take a while for her to change and she probably doesn't want to be with a guy like you.

Its possible, but its something within. I mean sometimes other people that are around that person have an affect on them and they decide its time for a change, but sometimes its just something they feel they need to do

Why not, life and God makes them change. Go to places like the middle east and see wonders.

People don't change. This is a fact of life.
And trying to change them... Not worth it. If you love/like someone accept them as they are warts and all.
