Do you take a little bit in, then blow the rest out or blow a bit out and take the rest in? What's the correct way to do it?

Just wondering.

puff and blow out don't inhale it- cigars are popular for their taste. suck in a little at a time and blow. you'll get the taste in your mouth and it should taste heavy and depending on the flavor you might enjoy it.

A few months ago this was a blog topic. Hopefully it helps. "First off, you need to start by cutting the cigar just right. Try not to simply use a knife or a pair of scissors (and please don’t use your teeth!), but instead use a single or double blade guillotine cutter. Place the head of the cigar (the part that goes into your mouth) into the cutter and make sure to make about a 1/8th of an inch cut or less. Once it’s cut, it’s ready to light. Remember to always use either a wooden match or a butane lighter because your traditional cigarette lighter will just give the cigar a bad taste. Hold the cigar above the flame while slowly rotating it to make sure it is evenly heated and you see a glowing, orange tip. Now you’re ready to smoke. The key to having the most enjoyable cigar experience is to smoke slowly while taking in all the aromas and flavors that come with it. Remember, its not a cigarette so NEVER, EVER INHALE! Instead, take slow puffs over an extended period of time. Some cigars can take over an hour to smoke so get yourself comfortable, relax, and enjoy!"

One should not inhale the smoke. Draw it into your mouth, let the smoke swirl around a bit, then gently exhale it (to be polite, don't smoke it in a crowded room, and don't exhale it toward anyone's face.) If you inhale a cigar, it will feel like you got punched in the lungs with a sledge hammer! lol.

Make sure your stick is at the proper humidity level, and is properly vented.

I thought you wasn't supposed to take any down, just to hold it in your mouth and then blow it out. You're only supposed to be able to taste it, I don't think you are supposed to take it smoke. But then a girl friend of mine explained that to me so it might not be true.

1) Trim the ends
2) Put the smaller end in your mouth
3) Light the other end
4) Draw the smoke through gently
5) Die

The last bit takes a bit of practice but you'll manage it eventually.

You aim for cancer of the mouth rather than of the lungs by just keeping it in your mouth for a bit.

Dont inhale any of it. You suck it into your mouth only, not into your lungs.
