I don't know about your bf, but every guy I know is into technology. A new cell phone, PDA device, GPS, stereo, computer...... problem with this is it depends on your budget, you have to know what he has and be pretty savvy with it yourself to make sure you get the right thing... (one solution, if you have the dough to drop, is take him to a Best Buy type store and tell him to pick whatever he wants... no surprise in it, but he will be in HeAvEN!)

On a less expensive note, a shirt (anything from a funny tee to a nice button-down) is always a classic... when he wears it, he'll think of you. Cologne, if he wears it and you know his taste, is also a good bet. CD's and DVD's will also be welcome. A movie that you watched with him and both liked, a tin of popcorn, and some slippers, makes a cute gift package all together.

Then, of course, there is always food. Take him out for dinner and a movie; or cook him a nice dinner at home (if you cook)... Take him on a date; make it seasonal (like ice skating), creative (take him to a make-your-own-art studio), classic (dinner and a movie), or whatever you want to do! That can be part of his present; I'm guessing that since he's dating you, time together will be a pretty great gift itself.

Hope you saw an idea you liked... good luck and have fun!

Some of my friends have given guys fleece no-sew tie blankets. It's 2 pieces of fleece material, you cut fringe all around on each side, and tie the ends together. You can buy a kit at the fabric store, like JoAnn Fabrics or even Walmart, or pick out the fabric and do it yourself. Guy like them because you do it yourself and it keeps them warm when you're not around.

If he's out of high school, a Swiss Army knife. My dad gives them to people for HS Graduation gifts and they love them. Most high schools ban pocket knives, so if he is still in, it would not be a good idea; he'd forget it was in his pocket and get in trouble.
