You are correct! I am a Catholic Christian, and I DO NOT agree with the way women dress today, they show themselves to men, and make them lust.
then make a fuss if a man approaches them.
I agree with you on this point.

No, not unless they are married. Adultery can only be committed if you are married or the person you commit adultery with is married. You an unmarried guy is lustful toward an unmarried woman, then he's committing fornication in his heart.
You know, I've read the bible, and I've not seen anywhere in it that it's a sin to commit adultery or fornication in your heart.
Course, I'm not a Christian, so I'm not the authority.
Though it's origins are religious, wearing a Habib is CULTURAL. Wearing one won't prevent lust, on either the part of the wearer, or those looking. Why don't Islamic guys wear Habibs too? That way the women wouldn't be committing adultery in their hearts as well? Don't you feel the women deserve to go to heaven?
If you feel you are wearing it for religious reasons, fine, just don't expect others to succumb to something that is clearly a cultural custom.

Muslimah, this concept was explained further by Jesus when He spoke to the Pharisees, as quoted at Matthew 15. Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites because they were worried about cleaning a cup, when they themselves were filthy inside.
After Jesus rebuked the Pharisees, this is what happened:
10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.”
12 Then His disciples came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
13 But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”
15 Then Peter answered and said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
16 So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.”
Jesus places PERSONAL responsibility upon the transgressor for his or her sins or sinful thoughts. He doesn't place any blame upon an innocent person who may cause another to have sinful thoughts. Jesus also taught "if your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out!" In other words, if you've sinned, remove everything from your life that causes you to do so.
Considering this, I believe Jesus would not support the wearing of a hijab, unless the wearer has a tendency to show herself off pridefully. Men who are tempted by a woman not in hijab should "blind" themselves by keeping their eyes closed, wearing sunglasses that dim their vision, or simply learning not to look with a lustful eye.
Peace.

I'd have to disagree with the basic premise.
He hasn't commited adultery. He may want to, but hasn't acted on it. If you look at sin in the same way as crime you'd need to establish a physical as well as mental aspect. The mental aspect is there, but no action.
The premise of sin established in many religions is rather scary. A man who is tempted, but does not act on that temptation is still sinful for being tempted; essentially you are damned for being.
What happened to the triumph of human spirit over temptation?
What about the opposite? A destitute man steals bread to feed his starving family, would this be a sin? The action is present, but the mental element is not; it is theft for survival.
To most, both elements of thought and action have to be present for a crime. In the event of crimes without physical action, the mental planning and preparation is used as the action. This is seen in conspiracy and treason cases. Where a physical action is required, that action must take place.
The hijab is a whole other case. I understand that many muslim women want to follow those traditions. I hope you can understand that there are certain activities in western society that are incompatible with the fashion. Many mid-eastern nations have worked around these incompatabilities by restricting the freedoms of women.
My thought is to allow women the freedom to choose their own path, but also to keep them responsible for their decisions. If you want to wear a headcovering to feel closer to your god, go ahead. This may mean you aren't allowed to work near machines. That's no different than banning a bikini clad woman from a welding shop.

Talking about wearing hijab, I would like to give you a simple example. When you see something that is covered you will be very curious to know what is under it, the same thing goes to the hijab, if one is not wearing it that you look like others and the curiosity won't be there.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
As for "hijab" I have no idea what that is or what it means. I am a Chrsitian. and I live according to the word of God and no other word or intreptation of that word.

Sin starts in the mind. We think it, than we do it (if we do it) When a man (or woman) looks at someone else with lust (wanting to have sex with them) they have broken one of the ten.
I don't know what a hijab is, but you are free to wear one if you live in the USA. However do not FORCE me to wear one. That is all I ask.

everyone has the right to dress as they wish..as long as it is modest.
however, if a man is consumed with lust, wearing a hijab will not help. The man needs to be delivered from the spirit of lust, instead of forcing uncomfortable compromises on the woman. The lust is the man's problem, but many times the woman is forced to bear all the responsibility for him, instead of him controlling himself....especially in hot weather, it must be terribly uncomfortable for women to wear so much clothing, when less would still be modest.....I personally think it is unfair to women to make them repsonsible for the men's lust problems.... the men need to grow up and be responsible for themselves.
If the spirit of god dwells within a man, and he has the love of god dwelling in his heart, he will put god and the woman first, and reject his sin of lust..

What exactlyare you driving at? Stopping the govt from banning the hijab? Stopping people from simply being uncomfortable about the hijab? I can't really answer your question unless I know whether you're talking about laws or customs.
