If he does exist, then I would definitely think so. It can't be as retarded as everyone thinks, I don't think God would be that incompetent.

Yes, it has. Jesus taught to judge not lest ye be judged, but in my experience Christians are the most judgemental people on earth.
Jesus lived a sinless life and did so to let people know they do not have to sin wilfully, but again in my experience the people who will be first to cheat on taxes and first to get to work three minutes late then go to the bathrom, get coffee and mess around and then start working 30 to 40 minutes lat are Christians.

I don't think it's possible for any group, religious or otherwise, to stick to its original philosophy for 100 years, much less 2000. Whoever the group's founder is/are, the followers who take over after they step down or die invariably take things in different directions immediately.

no I don`t believe that God would allow His truth to be corrupted so that the message is no longer valid, I do think that some of the more fundamental Christians have done what those of other faiths have done, that is they have applied their own criteria to the sciptures to validate their own supremacy, and pious attitudes.

If he did exist, yes I would have to say that most (not all) of his "followers" or way off base.

Perhaps by his translators and editors. The apographa is full of writings edited out of the bible, because they did not approve of it.
