Funny how everyone says the free kick was a dive......what about the softest penalty ever....the ref gave Man U the chance to even the game and what did they do?

ok celtic were lucky to win but man u were rubbish saha missed a penalty and a sitter by not playing to the whistle thats school boy stuff .alex ferguson always comes out with excuses only reason hes termed a good manager is through the millions he has spent on players whereas gordon strachan is building a team with a fraction of the budget man u has in the first game at old trafford man u were lucky to win it was only through a couple of bad mistakes made by celtic and what did gordon strachan do he said that no one individual was to blame and encouraged his team no excuses there even though gravesen admitted it was his fault the same applies when calderwood had a nightmare of a game against benfica strachan did not apportion blame or make excuses that is why maybe celtic won the other night celtic are a team not just a bunch of pre madonnas like there is at old trafford..18 million for carrick what a waste of money seen him a few times this season and he does not impress so alex should bind his team into a cohesive unit instead of coming up with lame excuses take a leaf from gordon strachan alex { it wasnt our fault } ferguson

Didn't Man U train at Ibrox the day before? Ferguson's mind games didn't come off just like Souness tried whilst he was Blackburn manager.
Yes we were outplayed in the first half but played a bit better in the second half. That was United's strongest team and they still couldn't beat an off form Celtic!! The premiership is overrated and needs a team like Celtic in it to counterbalance your dwindling crowds!

Not sure who you you are directing that to (probably anyone English?), but having watched the game myself, Man Utd dominated the game, and were by far the better side.
The Celtic freekick was conned out of the ref, and the replay of him falling over is embarrassing to watch. Yes, it was a world-class free-kick, hats off to the lad, but in the context of the entire game, it came about from a blatant dive, and Celtic were useless for the first 45mins and much of the second half too.

You didn't win. That free kick didn't count. It was really 0-0.
You're victory is trivial and meaningless cos you coulden't win without cheating. You're embarrassing yourselves.
Man Utd will win the group.
