Hi frens,
take this question in a good spirit.
One of my friend told me that, one can avoid pregnancy when they are intimate together with the partner without protection. He said he will ask the lady to stand up, immediately after the climax, and wash it. Is it so?
Another doubt is, he said in some days in menstrual cycle, there is no chance of getting pregnant. What are all the days...
If someone is getting offended by this question please ignore this Question.

if you want to listen to this stupid advise then it is your choice but let me tell you

IT IS NOT TRUE

a woman can get pregnant at any time of the month. there are no 'safe days' because the sperm can live inside the womans body for 3 - 4 days.

no washing or peeing can remove sperm once it enters the womb as it continues its journey towards the fallopian tube

so be wise - use protection at all times.

if you are not happy using condom then discuss with your wife and your doctor about contraceptive pills - although she must remember to take them everyday to avoid pregnancy

you must also remember that no contraceptive method is 100%

it as a lot of info about safe sex

good luck

These are NOT accurate. A woman can still get pregnant with all of these suggestions. Even the "pull out" method doesn't work. Protection is always a good way to help protect yourself, not just pregnancy, but also STDs.

In fact there does not have to have any penetration involved at all. Just a drop of semen just with in the vagina lips could get a girl pregnant. Also the sperm can live up to 3 days after having sex within the girl. So she could still get pregnant up to 3 days later.

ok for one when the sperm enters the cerxic you cant wash it out. and its very hard to know when safe days are if your basing not having kids by not doing it on safe days and someone miscaluculates then guess what you might not be on a safe day. the best way to not have babies is to use protection. and the hole pulling out thing dont work either im 24 with a 7 yr old.
and not only should your friend be worried about getting someone pregnant but what about stds isnt he worried there is alot of gross stuff out there go to yahoo search and look up herpies and syphilis look at some of the pics and please care about your own body more than he does his

From the earlier answers you already know that standing up and washing immediately after sex is unsafe for preventing pregnancy. And these people are correct. About sex during menstrual periods, let me just say that it is not 100% safe either. You can get a woman pregnant by having sex during that period also.

Semen doesn't wait until your finished to get into the vagina. You're releasing it even before you actually ejaculate so standing up after sex doesn't matter. The menstrual cycle lessens the chance of getting pregnant but does not prevent it. The only way to be safe is not doing it, or using condoms.

Both or incorrect, but on the second there is a lesser chance after she finishes her cycle. It depends on how fast her body moves the egg. It normally takes about 2 days for the body to move the egg.

That is all BS. I got preg the first time using the "pulling out" method (where the guy literally pulls out BEFORE he ejaculates), not so effective. As for fertility, it is all a gamble, every women is different, there are no "set" days when she is or is not. Even on less fertile days, male sperm can sometimes survive up to 2-3 days, laying in wait for the egg to decend.

There's nothing offensive about your question. However, it is not possible to avoid pregnancy in this manner since the sperm can swim upstream (defying the law of gravity) to the unfertilized egg(s)

For those of you who think this concept is stupid...I once heard of a couple, who believed with all their might that the woman got pregnant because they had orgasms "at the same time"!!!!!!!

To make matters worse...they were both lawyers!

Your friend is 100% incorrect. Although there are SOME days when it is highly unlikely for the women to become pregnant, there is no guarantee that it won't happen at any time of the month (unless she has already gone through menopause).

For crying out loud....
NO this will not prevent her from getting pregnant.
There are days she is LESS likely to get pregnant, but there are NEVER days that she cannot get pregnant.
Put on a freakin' condom. If you are young enough to believe these things than you are probably too young to have sex and certainly too young to care for the baby you will produce.
