i have recently moved from london to leeds. but am thinking of moving back to london again. what should i do?
london´s big advantages- office/work much better, much more happening place & life is better there- I am more satisfied there.
however, it´s very costly to live there.
leeds´ big advantages- much better (& cheaper) house to stay & my net income (income-expenses) is much much higher. i love my house in leeds but hated my flat in London.
However, Leeds is more boring & I don´t like the people here too much. My office in London & the people there are much better.
My wife is coming fom India to live with me next month (am getting married next month) & she is indifferent to the 2. which is also a better place to live for a fresh married couple- london or leeds?
people from usa - compare it like new york to portland.
thx for ur help.

Well since you are getting married, you may want to think more about finances over the fancies in life. The first year of marriage I assure you has alot of adjustments and also financial costs.

You want to be in a place where you can be able to handle that with ease and comfort. You want to be in a place where you and your bride have peace and the comfort to build your marriage in a less constraining manner.

You will realize that when you get married, you will tend to want to hang out in the house more to be with your wife. You will discover you have grown more introverted and would not need friends as much as you do now. You will want to do stuff with your wife for the first year...then as time goes by the two of you will start venturing out to make friends with your colleagues or whoever. I would say Leeds would be a great place to stay in the first year ..just to give you a chance to nicely lay a foundation in your marriage..then when you are ready you can move back to London.
